Wow, that's even more irritating than how the game likes to turn on the advanced movement options on vampire sims when you go to play another household! Yes, I'd definitely like to see the game's AI take our own choices and actions with our sims and the traits and skills we give them more into account when we aren't playing them. As it is, the game's sad excuse for "story progression" is like trying to play dolls with someone who knows nothing about your Barbies and their personalities and backstories and wants to take your tomboy character, slap her in a ball gown, and have her fawn over a guy she normally despises. I'm glad I generally ignore the flea markets and festivals these days...
