Vlad can't propose

My weird game strikes again. I'm ready for Vlad to propose to Callia, but the option is greyed out and it says their friendship isn't high enough to propose. Their friendship is about 50% in the red, their romance is maxed out. But here's the strange thing, the relationship panel says they're lovers. Unless I'm mistaken shouldn't that be hot and cold or enemies with benefits instead? Is that possibly why he can't propose? I've never had a relationship get into this territory so this is uncharted waters for me.

I was curious if there was a work around to get Vlad to take a knee and propose so I can see what crazy Callia does, or am I just going to have to cheat it? I'm not above using a cheat but I want to see if this proposal goes sideways or not. For the record I have a vanilla install atm. My entire mods folder got pulled so I could test my gardening issues. I was kind of hoping it would fix this too, but no such luck.

I think that works better like that if they broke up and got back together but if it's fresh he may need to be nicer to get the chance to propose, I know that can be difficult without force fixing him but it's not impossible. Though if that doesn't work the other option is taking them in the cas and rolling for twin till you get them exactly and starting fresh which is a last resort, but an option.
  • Oh he simply cannot leave Judith yet   his heart is taken by another  okay jkjk

I think you need them to be friends and have romance bar pink for marriage

higher the better but yeah i don't think either being red will work in vanilla save
  • @RedDestiny92 @Simmingal I was afraid of that. I'll just cheat their friendship up get the proposal done and put it back where it is. Then again it didn't take long to get where it is now so I can let Callia handle getting back into frenemies with benefits territory. She did a fantastic job of driving him bonkers the first time. So much so he spends an unhealthy amount of time at the bar in the living room. Hmm, maybe that will be the first piece Callia replaces.?

No, neither would I. What's funny is they never, or rarely reject each others romantic gestures but will bicker back and forth the rest of the time. She really knows where Vlad's buttons are and when to push them.?
