I think they just need to be tuned just when they go couch diving/hunting for items for you. Be making a killing for dust bunnies bringing you money. :p
Maybe from 5~20 simoleons with the rarity of finding a 100 or even more when it comes to money.
With my one sim, I noticed dust gathered slower and with more sims (especially with a pet) it got dustier usually down on the first floor for the most part. Which is fine to me cause certain sims I have living in absolute squalor that looks dirty is great.
Just want the dust bunnies to just be finding pocket change at this point my sim hardly needs a job when dust bunnies be go treasure hunting. :D That and lazy sims to attempt to clean less frequently and slob sims (least to me) shouldn't attempt to clean at all.
