- I use cutaway walls because I like the feeling of inside but I like to hear outside :) Plus walls up is a pain unless it's just for a screenshot.
- I used to play with cutaway but they started to get in the way so now I just put em down.
- I flip between walls up and cutaway. Usually on cutaway I'd think, though.
- Cutaway, unless I have a lot of corner walls that get in the way from all views.
- MDianaSimsSeasoned HotshotWalls down, I like to see what's happening in and around the house. I do put the walls up for screenshots though.
Cutaway is something I never used in any Sims game. - walls down so I can see my sims
- When I first started out, I played with cutaway walls, but then I started getting more and more into decorating my walls and now they're too immersive for me to hide at all, so I maneuver around with walls up so I can see them in the full environment that I've created for them. I also like to keep the walls up if there's a good shot of my sims that I want to take! ^U^ I feel like a mother always ready to get pictures of her kids growing up.
- KittybassNew SpectatorI play with the walls down but put them up to take screenshots.
- In live mode, I play with the walls down the only time I have the walls up or do a cutaway is when I build
- Back when I played TS1, I only ever used walls down. It drove me nuts how unstable it seemed, with the walls going up and down every other second. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it was strange how they did it. Starting with TS2, I started to use cutaway walls for more realism, and I haven't gone back since. Nowadays I'll even use walls up and just follow my Sims through the house, even when I'm not taking screenshots.
