I believe the 4 potions a batch was to mitigate everyone being annoyed at having to constantly gather ingredients to farm potions
But that's kind of the point, right? If you want to make potions, you need to gather ingredients. It's kinda weird that a single apple can restore all my needs 4 times. Almost feels like cheating.
