Washing Toddlers In Sinks?

I noticed today that when I clicked on a sink it gave me the option to wash my toddler. When I tried to do it my sim picked up the toddler and did the animation for changing their clothes and a few bubbles appeared but the toddler remained in their clothes. Then my sim put the toddler back down without ever washing her. Is this a new interaction or did I just never notice it? If it has been here, did the recent patch break it?

Edit: The interaction on the sink says "Clean Up "
  • It came in the patch. It’s not a full on bath in the sink, just a quick touch up like washing their face and hands for instance and it gives a small hygiene boost.
  • Yeah, I noticed that too, but on a toddler, not on a sink. And my sim did the same (right there on the spot).
  • I don't think it was in the patch notes.

And there's a glitch where children and other toddlers can do it. Toddler's stretch horribly, and the target of the wash gets stuck to children.

  • This is a great feature. I was worried about a lack of tubs in rental properties but now we don’t have to worry about that.

Ohhh okay thank you so much, I must have missed that when I read the patch notes!

Aren't toddlers a little big to be washed in the sink?

It seems to be like washing hands, so just a small hygiene boost, rather than a full "wash" like bathing a baby.
