Why is my sims keep drinking water? They drink a glass then put it on the coffee table then go get another one. They might wash it but mostly they lay it on the coffee table then go get another one.

It's a bug that's been in the game for at least 6 years. Playing a different household for a few seconds makes it stop. When you go back to your household they shouldn't be water bugged anymore.
This has been a frustrating me for years, I did not know there was a little temporary fix for this... thank you!
