Way Too Many Followers Required

I've tried the social media career a few times and always found the number of followers way too high. I'm struggling just to get 1000.

@Obscurus and @faith4jesus, I thought this as well, until I figured out the ways that gain the most followers. Have your sim travel and while out, use your phone to "make a shoutout from...." wherever you're at. You can do this multiple times while at the same venue, I think it's like once an hour. And that gets you lots of followers. After doing this a bunch of times, I realized the number one way to gain followers is actually live streaming a video game (using the computer or gaming console). That gets you A LOT and before you know it, you've reached the goal or even surpassed it :smile: and a secret to it is to have them start livestreaming, then cancel the action right away and have them live stream again, rinse and repeat. It gives you the same large amount of followers every time with no waiting period. My sim reached the top of the social media career this way.

Thank you, I'll have to try your suggestions! Right now, my sim is at level 7, and she needs 1,000,000 followers for her next promotion. She currently has 221,581. I've had her livestream a lot, I hadn't realized that she would get basically the same amount no matter how long she played!

Hmm, when I make my sim live stream, she gets 700,000 followers every time. But, I just realized, it probably has to do with her video gaming skill.

I agree getting followers is hard, but I don't mind a bit of struggle really.

I'm surprised there isn't a cheat to make the number more reasonable.

I don't remember what the branch is called, but it's about becoming internet famous.
I send my Sim to work and never work from home. And yeah, I use those Viral Videos to get about 1M follower boost each time. There's still 12,500,000 followers missing. :|

Oh well. We're getting there slowly but surely.

Another way I found you can easily get followers is after your sim gets back home from say a night out, if you immediately click on the computer and then social media, it normally gives you the option to post a status about your night out or a photo I Believe,
