Way Too Many Followers Required

It's hard if you do it the usual way but I recently achieved those 25 million followers. Just start a "Let's Play" game then cancel it, start again, cancel it, etc. Every time you do this you get 700k.

I was looking at this and was like how do you get viral videos?!?! Then i realised you do need level 10 charisma skill to do viral videos, just posting this just in case someone didn't know as well!

sims team thinks every sim is a pewdipie.

What about livestreaming gameplay on the computer or game console? Sorry if someone has already suggested it. I didn't read all the comments. Anyway, that gets 100,000s of followers. :)

I especially love using the phone to let followers know where my sim is at, especially during festivals. You gain tons very easily that way. Streaming video games can get you a lot, but you can't stream for too long. Also your sims skill with the game can influence the number of followers. Angry rants have helped me before too, but its important that your sim be in the emotions, because that will help too.

live stream 700k when you are on the 25 million level. I think when you are on the million level you don't get much. I think traveling to other lots and doing shout outs give you like 80k or something like that. If you stay for a while, you can do like 3-4 shout outs and such. I think something else gives you a decent amount. It might be viral videos.

I actually love it. It's the one job that just doesn't feel like menial ladder climbing. I feel like I need to actually work for it.

I found gaining followers really hard until I found broadcasting gets you 9,000 followers I know it's not really that much but you can do it a bunch of times as well as going places and shouting out from your phone
