I try to play historical saves every now and then. There are mods and CC that helps me get it to work and I have so much fun doing that. Mandatory phone time makes that so much more difficult.
If there was a phone on the home lot that could be disguised as something else I would be overjoyed. I just found a CC-typewriter that only writes and have all the other internet -uses and video games turned off. Now it is CC and I could get it for free. Instead I get more phone actions.
I would play for a kit or a Stuff Pack that gave me a home phone. Good money for less mandatory tech, in fact I already do that since I am a patron of modders who helps me remove tech.
