Per using mods, this is great I suppose if your playing on PC but what about players on console? More so, having come back to the Sims 4 I DO believe that the Sims now spend A LOT more time on their cellphones/aka the idle animation has been increased recently.
For example when I ask them to walk somewhere they LITERALLY do it blind now while staring at their phone and before I left to go play Sims 3, I recalled them maybe checking it once?
Plus its literally just repeating the same 3 second animation over and over - very clearly. I mean you can see the animation start and restart, its very immersion breaking and feels like a bug.
More so what about sims living off the grid? why would they have cellphones or at least constantly be checking them?
More so have developers taken into account people that have been killed or seriously hurt because of cellphone distraction? This animation is almost triggering as I personally know 2 people who have been seriously hurt because of distracted drivers or walked into traffic.
The develops are constantly talking about making Sims 4 a "safe space" but they are literally glorifying an addictive issue that at the VERY least should have ways to remove, control or alter it as i mentioned before. This is like game design 101 for a life simulator. Options.
