We can hire an Upgrade Technician!?

I thought that it can do only with mod (ex. “Ask to upgrade”), didn’t know that it can be in base game. That’s interesting news. I will check when I open the game again.

I'm not sure if they came with the new pack or the basegame update just before it, but I LOVE this so much! No more downloading fully upgraded drones from the gallery lol.

It makes so much more sense for wealthy or lazy sims to pay someone for upgrades than everybody having L7+ handiness. I like that it's expensive too - means there's still an incentive for your sims to do it themselves.

I also haven't noticed them doing the Eco-Lifestyle upgrades, so no surprise composting container toilet fires!

Thanks for the info. Now I will just wait to have this function when I buy this EP.

I won't activate this EP very soon because I still want to take time playing previous EPs for a while. However, it's good to have this ability without using a mod.

(But the mod I mentioned can upgrade a specific item, so I still use the mod in some cases.)

I usually do all the handywork myself, and I'm getting pretty darn good at it too.
Just buy a workbench and start building your own furniture, soon you'll be ready for upgrading your entire home.
Sims just love the luxury and comfort.

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about this feature! Most of my royals/high nobles don't focus that much on their plumbing though, but I know a few sims with "high maintenance" demands, or fame perks, who most likely will benefit from a few upgrades.
