What I really really really miss from TS2 and 3 is the favorites and the zodiac signs. The zodiac signs don't een have to have an impact on the game, it was just always so interesting to see what sign each sim was through my gameplays. But the favorites, man, the favorites... they just make the sims feel so much more alive.
Imagine if a sim's favorite color is blue and they have a blue bed or a blue chair, and they get extra happy because they really like the color. Or the radio station is playing their favorite music genre, or perhaps their most disliked music genre. Imagine how much that would affect the feel of the game. It would make the sims feel more like actual living beings rather than empty husks occupied by emotions and buffs.
I really miss those too. Zoadic signs are a plus, but the favorites are a must. I still have faith they'll add it eventually, considering zodiac signs were added later on in Sims 3.
What really intrigued me was this favorite color thing. Considering we had a color wheel and could change the color of pretty much everything, how did the sims recognize which color it was? That's high technology my guys.
I wish we had all this tiny things back. I mean, it's not that hard/expensive. We're no asking for open worlds here.
