That would be Oasis Springs.

I always saw Newcrest as an extension to Willow Creek (in my game it's a more modern district.) So if we were going down that route I would like a desert map like Oasis Springs (in my game I would love to have space for a Las Vegas strip.)
I honestly don't understand.
No problem, it was concept art for Oasis Springs that never made it into the game as a neighborhood. And since we have Newcrest which looks like it belongs to Willow Creek, I thought , in regards to @chickenow 's post, that they could use this for some more Oasis Springs themed neighborhoods.
But it did made it.

I believe the medium wealth district is that concept's neighborhood and it's pretty close to it. - I think the next world they release should have at least 75 lots- 25 lots per world is way too little
- I would love an empty world, too. I play rotationally and have reached the point where my "second generation" sims are having babies and starting their own families but the first generation has not yet passed on (but I suppose that's besides the point since when they do they will continue their existences in ghost form), and my town has basically been exploding with new households consisting of my recently-came-of-age second generation sims and their spouses, so the lots are really filling up fast. The addition of Windenburg from GT last year did help a little, but not much more than that. It doesn't help with the situation that I'm using Zerbu's Turbo Career Mod and some of my lots are being used as workplaces. So yeah, an empty world is desperately needed.
- Yes, I also need more neiborhoods and it would be so much better, like the other person here said, if there is a world creator.
Not only that, but I actually want to decide the size of lots by myself... but you know we can't do it in TS4.... so... I am just very sad that creators have deprived us of the freedom of choosing the size of all lots. - I have no neighbors in Newcrest. Please help. I only have base game and toddlers
- Lonewolf1044Seasoned SpectatorSince there no intention of letting us build our own neighborhoods, I would say an empty world with enough lots should be made available unless it affects performance. ;)
- I would love another Newcrest as I use mine as an extension of San Myshuno and foresee a day when I’ll run out of space there, too. That being said, I agree with others that being able to edit the terrain type and backdrop would be ideal because then we could each create our own little worlds, which is what The Sims is all about.
I also love @Piperbird’s nuke idea. Haha, excellent! - I think another empty world would be nice, I have long-running legacy families I have made and my worlds are starting to feel like Iceland (if you get the reference I hope you chuckled). However, I would like it to have another "world theme" like another big city area so we can build more apartments, a coastal town, a more rural area or heavily forested area etc, just add a bit more variety. It's okay to have two desert world, you can still make them unique from one another.

Exactly, Maybe do it with a focus of the older part of a city? Lots of Brownstones and apartments above shops. The feel of the sims trying to make it in the big city. - > @king_of_simcity7 said:

The issue I personally have with CAW was it didn't seem very user friendly. Now if they did something that was similar to the create a town in Sims 2 with some added options, but kept the simple layout I would be down for that. And even have it were there is a more advance mode for people who could navigate the CAW without a headache.
