Keep in mind the brightness and contrast on the screen of your monitor. For example: I was spamming in those 'subtle saucer' lights everywhere until after time I realized all I had to do was adjust the brightness and contrast on my screen instead. Then it was insane and had to get rid of the too many lights! Also, for what things look like, skin tone for example, the colour setting on the in-game lights make a big difference. The simple changes are from "neutral" to "cool" (blueish) or to "warm" (yellowish) for white light. Angles and shades of the lights (including the outdoor light) make a difference too!
