The ones with text look absolutely abysmal. These honestly look amateur made. The text is too high and not centered for the Y-axis, the text is too small, and in the case of the last one the formatting is really weird to me; try to align them so they look neat, don't just type them into some online T-shirt making program and say "loldone gimme money now." It looks as though they somehow managed to put less effort into those than they put into Sims 4.

The ones related to Cats and Dogs just seem so ridiculously obscure. Imagine if I'm a fan of Seal so I wanted a Seal shirt. Now imagine if - for some reason - there was specifically a "Kiss From A Rose" shirt. Now I have to hope that people specifically like THAT song or I just look dumb. Why not just stick to a Seal shirt?! Millions of people wear shirts for AC/DC or Guns and Roses, not many wear "Thunderstruck" T-shirts cause you're just more likley to not get the response you want when wearing them. Moreover, if someone has never heard of the Sims and sees that shirt, they're gonna think it's a game about cats. It's a weird choice advertising-wise, and I'm pretty sure free advertising is half the point of selling T-shirts. (other point is they're cheap and easy to make so yay money) But here we are and instead of a Sims shirt, not only do we have Sims 4 shirts, we have Sims 4 Cats and Dogs shirts. Yeah ok.

The ONLY shirt that actually looks decent to me is the green plumbob. The others just don't appeal to me whatsoever, and even the green plumbob seems not centered for the Y-axis, could stand to be bigger, and that ugly TM in the corner makes it worse. Do we really need that TM there? It's not good-looking.

Quite frankly I'm surprised to see this much excitement over these, both because I sincerely think they look awful and because....I'm sorry but when I see a company make T-shirts, I don't think "Just what I always wanted!! I LOVE this company!" No, I think "Oh guess they want more money." Here we are though, buying whatever they hand to us again and wondering why their decisions always seem so money-driven...

I'll be honest, I don't really get why this is happening. I thought when I first saw this on Facebook that they were providing a Sims 4 store and the first things were t-shirts for our sims or that this was some new stuff pack. I don't mind grabbing a graphic tee if it's on sale but I could maybe picture buying one of these. Maybe. I'd be a bit more inclined if it were The Sims, The Sims 2 or The Sims 3 as well but I probably wouldn't buy unless it's on sale in some department store. I could see myself wearing a shirt if it simply said The Sims 3, although I do see what you mean about the design being off axis. That would irritate me. I was already staring at them trying to figure out what was off, lol.

I'm just wondering how much of The Sims can one merchandise exactly, beyond maybe six or seven designs? I thought they had a good thing going when they'd release special deluxe editions or whatever with special merchandise for simmers who wanted to shell out extra money for it. I'm less interested in a real life Sims shop and more interested in things like the promotional content (Dr. Pepper, etc.) in TS3 that players may have lost or missed out on or The Sims complete collection being available and supported. That's just me though. Whatever floats a simmer's boat.

There's plenty of inside jokes they could do:

"My Sim Self is a Celebrity."
"My Sim Self is a Millionaire."
"I dove into a Pool without a ladder and survived."
A coffee mug with the needs UI and the energy bar low.

Plenty of slogans and such they could do that would be appealing to wear, but as I said these look like minimal effort was put into them.
