We still need separate foundations!
Why can't we still have separate foundations? I want to build a garage, a shed, an atelier, etc. It has been three years and this has been an issue since the release of TS4! I'm getting really despera...

Its one of those things that sounds good on paper, but when executed it's a huge headache for others.
I don't know why this change was made, it worked fine for previous iterations. and I highly doubt that fixing foundations are on the to-do list as it would require a lot of rework/coding.
It's also probably (not sure) why spiral stairs aren't in-game yet, they have to make sure that it rises with the foundation, which we all know can get really tall (as tall as our sims.) it really makes me wonder if the foundation system was only half way done.
