I have resisted the desire to toggle off rain/thunderstorms for a long time. I was afraid it would make the game more like the Endless Summer we get without Seasons. However, my Sim just can't get out...

Hard to train him when he's actually been STRUCK by lightning, you know. LOL
Besides, I'm using a mod to eliminate the fears altogether.
ETA: I'm only upset because the nearly constant rain keeps my Sims from really getting their garden taken care of. It defeats the purpose if the weeds grow for all of the rain (just as in RL) but that there are very few days when it's not raining. Who can even swim in that? It's just flat out too much rain.
