Wedding attire

Should I have both my sims wear black tuxedos, or have one wear white? (the couple in my avi are engaged to each other)

I think non traditional weddings and couples don't have to follow the black and white rules. I agree with @Lustianicia that white tuxes are often ugly. Black doesn't have to be plain - there are brocaded suits and suits with different coloured shirts. But @Nindigo makes an excellent point on thinking outside the box. My fairy sims wore green and blue outfits.
