Weird Big Eyes (glitch?)

Ive been seeing lots of random townies with those weird bug eyes lately and when I see them I get rid of them! LOL I dont like it and I notice it a while ago actually. I even went into CAS to make a new sim and everytime I hit random it was the same eyes EVERY single time I clicked it! I was annoyed. I also notice some of my family members are having children and when they aged they have the same eyes. I dont know where it came from especially since the parents dont have any kind of features like that. I thought it was a bug for a bit and just deleted them or changed them when I saw it.

I seem to have narrowed the bug down to something to do with the Explorer mod

I never saw this in my game, but then I have not parched my game in months. Am about to update it now, but this thread got me worried.

How big eyes? Could someone post a pic?

@Simmerville, I have patched, and I have not seen any sims in my game with this issue. This could possibly be a mod issue for the OP.

This is typically an issue with bad CC. You say you don't have any CC or mods but then you say you have MCCC so I'm a little confused.

I meant I have no like, custom content as in CAS, I do have script mods though

I found the issue was the accessories folder within my explorer mod, don’t understand why this is the issue but it was the only files causing problems when I tried each individually in my game

It would be best to go back to the site where you downloaded the mod from and download /install the latest version. The mod was updated after the November patch.

@shanls96 Test something out, for me. I had the same problem sometime back with the big eyes. Actually, I have had it a few times. Once with some default eyes and once with the Explorer mod. Go into the Explorer mods folder and remove the CC for the nails. It might take some testing to see which one is the nails mod.

Me and Kawaii Stacie spent a couple days trouble shooting my big eye issue, cause she wasn't seeing the problem, and she wasn't getting it reported, but all my testing clearly pointed to it being an issue with Explorer (and I'm not novice with computers or mods).

I installed the mod onto my daughters game and she didn't have the problem. Long story short. With a certain CC hairstyle in my daughters game with the nails from Explorer, she didn't have the eye issue, without the CC hair and with the nails part of the mod in, she did.

So track done the nails part of Explorer, take it out and see if it still happens or fixes the issue. I can probably track down the hairstyle that seemed to fix the issue for me, if you do find it to be the nails. Otherwise, Kawaii Stacie was never able to reproduce the issue, so I'm not sure a proper fix was ever done.
