The cellphone as a non-toggle aspect of the game is a Choice. I don't like it. I don't want it. And by that, I mean having Sims have cellphones is fine, but making it so every Sim gets one and this cannot be turned off is what I don't like.
Having no option for homeschooling. Another Choice.
Also, introducing terrain tools, but Build/Buy objects can only be placed on flat terrain. Or having so many clutter items that can't be placed on many shelves or that take up a whole countertop.
