All my Sim couples, married or not, have never cheated, with one recent exception. They always are completely in love and devoted exclusively to each other. My single Sims on the other hand can have many love interests at once. But, once they've agreed to be boyfriend/girlfriend or get married, that's it, no more playing around for you. The married couples never divorce either. I've had a few unmarried couples break up though for various reasons. But never because they cheated (until recently).
I know that's unrealistic and probably considered weird to a lot of Simmers, but that's just how it always goes in my game play. Hubby and I have been together for over 40 years, we're soulmates and best friends. I guess I've unconsciously tried to emulate that for the couples in my game. We've always been totally devoted to each other before and after we got married so it seems I want to give my Sims that kind of love and joy as well. :)
The one exception was for a really, really dumb reason.
Happy Simming Y'all! <3

Spoiler
My Sim was Salim Banali's girlfriend. She gave him a key to her apartment and he would come over often. The problem was, once she gave him the key, he never asked her out on dates anymore and when he visited, all he ever did was read books, leave empty plates, water & milk glasses all over the apartment, play video games, watch the World Culture channel on TV and ignore her. Unless he got flirty, then they'd woohoo once and he'd immediately leave, "Thanks for hanging out with me." Pfft... I love Salim in other saves, but in that save he's a dill-hole.
I was so fed up with him I made an ill-advised rash decision. For the first time ever in over four years of playing TS4, I had my Sim meet another guy at the Spice Festival and she had a one-night stand with him. I felt so bad about it though, I had her break-up with Salim. She ignored/avoided the other guy too. Afterward, she met yet another guy (my gorgeous Super Sim Josh) busking with a guitar in the Spice District community square, they clicked right from the beginning, fell in love and he eventually moved in. They're engaged now too. One BIG problem though. The one night stand? He's her new fiancé's brother... o.O Opps!
