Ok, that makes like no sense, but in a way, that is just the Sims for ya I guess. :) Good to know for future.

I had my sim socialize equally but just a little bit with all neighbors, the result was neutral. But when my sim was very friendly with just one neighbor, and all other neighbors were almost totally ignored, all the neighbors were happy at the end.
