I actually like the fruitcake and the welcome wagon. Usually what I do after a welcome wagon comes to my house is when I move in another townie into my sims neighborhood I will have my sim whip up something to take to their place in the same sort of way and I leave the food there. But of course not fruitcake. Usually it's brownies or cookies lol. Idk maybe I'm old fashioned, but I like the idea of neighbors welcoming new neighbors. I remember when my husband and I moved into a house we were renting after we had our son and the owner surprised us with a turkey for Thanksgiving. It so thoughtful. Now I'm not saying fruitcakes are turkey lol but I've always like the idea of welcoming a new neighbor into the neighborhood
