Well that threw a huge wrench in my plans big time.
Before I mentioned what happened, I just wanted to say I have a few mods in my game that gives the sims more free will to autonomously do stuff, but I won't go into details on what those things are, some are PG, and others are not, but don't worry, what I am going to talk about is nothing above the T rating. :) Also this is not to ask why, or how or anything.
I have finally got into a rotational game play of sorts, and after getting the whole community set up for all the new packs, and all the seasonal make overs done as well.
It all started when I had moved a sim into Forgotten Hollow, and she got attacked and drained by Vlad. You know the typical thing that the game throws in when you move in a new sim. Not even 24 sim hours later, it happened again, but by a different vampire. So I decided I was going to create a Vampire Slayer to deal with those pesky vampire; which I added all of them, either from my own creations or from the gallery. You remember those that were in the Vampire official videos when that pack was first released.
Then I added another sim to the community, thinking she would be my vampire slayer, but for some reason she ended up being a Squeamish, Neat freak, who really hates fish. So that didn't work, plus she ended up being a single mom after meeting up with Marcus Flex. Given total autonomous free will, that guy is really something else.
So I tried a third time, this time finally succeeding in creating my vampire slayer, and I even moved her into that house that is decked out in garlic, and I even had her plant a lot of garlic in her front yard. For the "Welcome to the Neighborhood" group what the first sim I mentioned, the Goths (who are now living in Forgotten Hollow) and Caleb Vator. Caleb was really struggling with being in this garlic infected house, but somehow he managed to stick it out. The next day was the Geek festival that is in San Myshuno. Caleb text my vampire slayer and asked her if she wanted to go. Thinking no harm can come of this, so she accepted. But shortly after they got there, Caleb turned my vampire slayer into a vampire. :/
So now my sim can't stay in her own home, at least until she can gain the Garlic Immunity strength as a vampire. She moved in with Caleb and his two sisters, I gave them a younger sister who still a teen. Still determined to be a vampire slayer, this newly turned vampire is still working on her physical training to get stronger, leaner, and faster. While there, Caleb did try to start up a romantic relationship with his "offspring", and for a brief moment she allowed it, because she needed to learn from him everything she could.
Finally after gaining her Garlic Immunity, she moved back into her home, and even added more garlic. While she was still human, she did meet a man, whom she eventually fell for, romantically, after becoming a vampire. Then it came time for that holiday where it is like Valentines day. Her boyfriend, now living with her, must have sensed something was up that day, because she had received a text from Caleb asking her out on a date, that she refused. On this day of romance, he tried to call in "sick" because he had no vacation day, but they didn't fell for it. They told him he better show up for work or else, so he decided he better show up for work. After he left, she headed over to Caleb's house, not quite deciding what she was going to do on this day...was it either going to be more training, or romance...I didn't know. When she finally got to Caleb's home, guess who also showed up? It was her boyfriend, which ended up helping her decide on her final decision on this whole romance thing, and she ended up going back home with her boyfriend.
They are now married, and are soulmates, for the time being she has put the vampire slaying option on the back burner, well at least until later on, when they start to act up again.
