I am pretty sure it is a glitch due to the mod. Since I have taken the MCCC out and back again, I noticed a lot of the sims have aged up rapidly and all the elders seemed to have died, living some of the animals and younger sims alone when usually they need to have at least one sims who is a teen or young adult (I don't even remember teens can live on their own; but apparently they can now, which is good for the run away teen challenge and story I suppose).
