Well this messed up everything...

I have previously made a default save template to start new saves with my own townies and nicely downloaded houses to replace EA's disasters. Now with the new pack, I WANT the crappy EA houses so my sim can renovate! lol.

Yep. I'm seriously considering ditching my years-old save and starting fresh so I have lots of houses I haven't already redecorated. Plus I think I finally hit a point where I need a refresh on the Sims I'm playing.
  • Haha I'm in the same boat, I'll just renovate my renovations I guess.
  • Can you revert back to an earlier save? Maybe one that doesn't have as many new lots already placed? If not, I guess a new template save may be in your future.

At any rate, I think regardless of how nicely decorated the Gallery houses are, I'm sure your sims will want a renovation. :)

haha true, but I think it would be more fun/interesting with the EA builds.

I have created my own save default that I always use for new saves, so I never have the original EA builds in my worlds if that makes sense.

This is what I do. But I guess there are always a few houses that I decide I don't like so much after a while. And I suppose a 'freshen up' of a room style isn't going to kill anything.

I'm guessing that we will have a few jobs to choose from each time, so can pick the house that we'd prefer to overhaul from the choices.
