Werewolves Positivity Thread

I finally got to play today. I downloaded Lux from the gallery and moved her into the starter home. She got night wolf, grumpy wolf, and the temperament that hates being inside. All of those seemed to fit her personality. I loved how she was able to move about the world and how large it did indeed feel. She was able to scavenge and make some money and learn lore at the same time. Yet it didn't feel overpowered.

The First Impression mod I had installed helped me decide which pack to join. Lux had a negative impression of both Kristopher and Jacob, but a positive one of Rory and Lou. So she became first a friend and then a member of the Wildfangs. I knew from another mod I have installed that she was attracted to Lou, so I wasn't surprised when he was her fated mate. (I admit I kinda hoped this worked like the wishing well where you would have to go to the peak, make an offering, and *poof* there would be your fated mate.)

I love how werewolves can meet all their needs away from home! I haven't unlocked everything yet, but the ability to just sleep anywhere is a game changer. And hunting! So much fun, and I've hardly begun to explore.

I had my doubts after it was confirmed that it would have just 5 lots and only one empty. I made up my mind that I would keep that mind open to using Moonwood Mill but I would plan to make Henford my werewolf world. The livestream helped to open my mind a bit more. It is an occult simmers heaven. Very few 'normies', as I call them, show up. Some do but not many. You can go there with your sim and revel in all things occult!?

I agree that the world as designed is very cool. That being said, I still wish we had more lots... not simply because I always want more lots, but specifically because they did such a great job with the assets that I really wish I had more opportunity to actually use them.

I've reached that point where one more lot would have been perfect. With Ava expecting, I can't have her and the pup living in the yard in front of the Wildfangs hangout. Just her and Lou, no problem. With a tiny wolfie or wolfies I have to get them a house. Now I wish there were more lots.?

Funny to me because I got blasted last pack for just answering a question for another simmer because I wasn't being negative. Not complaining about it I am pleasantly pleased it is going that way. Makes it nicer to read and more constructive.

There are many things that the pack does right, imho, and it adds some really nice touches, like little small details for family stuff like the were-babies and were-toddlers howling, the baby crib, being able to read a moon book to child, etc. :smile:

I’ve been kind of back and forth on getting this pack due to more personal tastes of a couple aspects I didn’t like (vamps vs weres and fury/rampage), but some kind simmers have been giving me info and have been patiently answering my questions that addressed those concerns in various threads, which is wonderful. This has reassured me and makes me lean towards getting the pack. :smile:

I love how very positive the threads have been, and how kind the occult fans have been in figuring out solutions for some of us who had certain concerns.

I am glad that another occult has been well-done, and I am hoping for that future occult packs (like potentially fairies or refreshed mermaids, etc) will also be made with so much love like this! ??

wouldn't it be nice to have another newcrest but more for occults just fifteen lots to do whatever with, the dream.

Also I technically accidentally had my emotional wolf who is already feeling guilty for existing "gift" a teenager with a bite I was intending to attack someoneelse she was right next to but you know...yep.

I'm having a blast playing my werewolf.

I went to a party and my sim has the feels outcasted temperament and the +2 sad moodlet appeared while at the party and I thought it would make a great screenshot of my sim having that moodlet while surrounded by sims. So I told my sim to go behind all the sims he was surrounded by to get him to show up in the picture. Then I thought he should be in werewolf form for the picture but when I changed him all the sims ran away. I didn't get my picture but I LOLed at the game.
