Babies = newborn to 1 year
Toddlers = 2-4
Child = 5 to 12
Teen = 13-19 (but this is where it goes fuzzy to me. In my country, USA, 18-year-olds are considered adults as in they can sign contracts
and get married without parental consent.)
YA = 20 to 35 (in my game a YA is actually 18)
A = 36 to 64 (also known as middle age)
Elder = 65+
I base elder on 65 because again, in the USA a person who reaches 65 is then eligible for Social Security (retirement) and Medicare. I hit the big 65 in a couple of days. But trust me, I don't feel 'old', not for a minute. I just wish the game wouldn't automatically make an Elder stooped over and with a full head of gray hair. Some of us are going (as in not even there, yet) white. ;)
@Babykittyjade I do hope when you reach the age of 50, you won't feel or even look like an elder. It all depends on your genes. I'm turning 65 in just a couple of days and I don't walk stooped over and my hair is still primarily red as in my avatar. Yes, I have some white streaks, but they're mostly underneath so they aren't really seen all that much. ;) But, I've got great genes, too. My late mother didn't look 80 before Alzheimer's started to have its way with her. Then she aged rapidly and died not long afterward. :'( But, she walked as straight as she always did. None of this stooped over nonsense.
ETA: A word of caution, don't be telling a 5-year-old they're a toddler, either. :open_mouth: They have usually mastered the 'art' of walking by then and they will likely insist they are a big kid, now. I wouldn't want you to suffer the wrath of such a misstep on your part. (Duck and take cover!) ;)
