What aging game setting do you mostly play on?

I do a mixed for aging up I have my kids age up to teens in 3-5 days. teens are the usual or if I am doing a teen pregancy type of game I add a sim week on. young adult, I add a couple sims weeks too adults I add a sim week too and Elders are 3-5 days with tots at 1 day to age up to kids and same with babies to tots if I don't age them up automatically.

Like many others long is just too long, I mean, 52 days for a kid?? Nope, so I age them up after they gain the skills for that life phase. Usually it's around 16-17 days for kids and teens, usual time for ya and adult and the same for elders as kids. Works out much better for my play style and I can get most everything I want them to do. Plus it gives them more than one or two times for all the seasons, I play with the seasons set at 14 days. I really wish EA could install sliders, they were perfect in Sims 3, but I'm not holding my breath. :D

If there is a family I really looooove I will change it to long or turn it off.

I play on long but I age them up on my own custom settings.

Off. I spend too much time on their looks and outfits.

Off. I like to play their stories and don't want to feel rushed through them

I do a custom age span through MCCC - normal age span for babies through teens, then long for YA, shorter for Adult and Elder

I play on normal, but I use MCCC to tweak some ages to make toddlers a bit shorter, and adults and elders a bit longer so they won't die before they can meet all of their grandkids and see them grow up.

I play with aging off because I want to preserve my main characters and not have them die off. I would play with aging on if (a) there was a reliable way of making selected sims immortal and ageless; and (b) if there was some form of story progression which would allow those sims who aged to reproduce and repopulate the world.
