While I agree for the most part with what you said, there is one little difference. Players are encouraged to upload their creations to the gallery. From what others have said in this thread, EA had a plan in place to prevent 'stealing' from happening but it has not worked and needs to be repaired. Thus the blame cannot entirely be the fault of the players.
Yes, uploading to the gallery is encouraged, but quite frankly if you are going to get upset that someone takes your ideas and then turns around and claims it as their own, you should never upload in the first place. Let's be real, its a game and no one is making money off their creations, so while its annoying that people steal others work, you should know that its more than likely going to happen and just let it go. Yes, its frustrating, but there really isn't anything that we can do. EA controls the gallery, and EA has never, IMO, had a great plan in place to stop it.
