Yes, some time ago my game was having problems, so I uploaded some creations to the Gallery to save them. One of them was the family of Amber Stein, Chuck Cenzo and their children. (Everyone knows Amber Stein, don't you?) The family was sent to the Gallery under the name "By SimGuruZephyr". Later I deleted it from my studio as it wasn't mine. So, if you re-upload someone else's creation, why not write something like "It was originally made by...", "It wasn't made by me...", etc. in the description? Not even for the author but for yourself to feel honest. If you give credits to the author, it isn't stealing.

I'm not going to blame Maxis - they do what they can and my name is on all of the re-uploads.

Hej, I see you quoted me, thanks and reading it back now, I should have added that I am (still haven't uploaded anything yet) planning on writing a disclaimer in the description stating that the actual house was not made by me and give credit to the original builder of the house, I will also state that the house is full of CC which I am not uploading with it (if that is even possible?) because I respect creators TOU's so if anyone wishes to download the house, they will be getting an empty shell of a house, most likely without windows, doors or even paint/wallpaper. and if they would like to get the proper house to go and check out the original builders gallery page.
I would like to add I don't think it is right or cool that someone uploaded your house not just once but 6 times. Some people just don't respect others.
I also understand where people are coming from with the thought that once uploaded to the gallery something is not really theirs anymore so who cares? The people that build/make sims care, I am a terrible from scratch builder but I am great at remodeling an already built house (my opinion hahaha) anyway, it can take me hours to remodel a house to where I like it, I am proud of my work, I enjoy my game when I play in said house, so these people's time and effort means something to them even if it's just a little note saying who actually built/made sims in someone else's reupload. As for my "houses" I am quite sure that the original builder would not even know it's their creation, problem is, I would know and feel crappy about it.
