There is something else to think about with this subject, my game has become a little laggy and one of the suggestions is to clean out your tray file, which means that you have to upload your houses to the Gallery itself and not just your personal library, which means that if and or when I do this, I will have to upload a lot of houses that are not my own but redone by me to the Gallery for all to see. So perhaps a lot of people aren't actually stealing other peoples buildings but just cleaning out their tray file.
Yes, some time ago my game was having problems, so I uploaded some creations to the Gallery to save them. One of them was the family of Amber Stein, Chuck Cenzo and their children. (Everyone knows Amber Stein, don't you?) The family was sent to the Gallery under the name "By SimGuruZephyr". Later I deleted it from my studio as it wasn't mine. So, if you re-upload someone else's creation, why not write something like "It was originally made by...", "It wasn't made by me...", etc. in the description? Not even for the author but for yourself to feel honest. If you give credits to the author, it isn't stealing.

I changed around a park from the gallery and I made it smaller, and I put that it was not made originally by me, I just fixed it to be smaller, and I put where they could find the original and all complements I said belonged to the original creator, so I did not think that was stealing, as I put them on the gallery to save them.

@jimmysnan I don't think that was stealing, as you gave credits to the original creator. You behaved honestly and I respect such people.
But in my examples the person re-uploaded the same lot six times without changing anything, even the description. And without writing that it wasn't their creation.
Yes, Maxis usually puts the original creator's name. But sometimes there can be glitches, so you should write by yourself that the creation you re-upload wasn't originally made by you. That is honest. And that is your duty, not Maxis's.
The creations in the Gallery don't belong to us. And we don't ask to be paid for creating them. But we should be honest. I repeat, not even for the author, but for yourself. IMHO
I personally don't respect people who re-upload someone else's creations without giving credits to the original creator.
You may disagree with me.
