- Some pre-made sims have Preferences from other packs, such as Arnessa Thebe (MWS) who Likes Singing (CiL).
- Restaurants (DO) and Retail (GTW) are versatile lots that can sell/prepare catalogue/food content from across all packs, making these two lot types very useful and varied to visit and build.
- Fishing Traps (IL) can be placed into any water a sim can wade into and can catch fish if they swim there. It's worth buying a few to fish passively if you live by the water.
- Boats (IL) and Floaties (IL) can be used in any swimmable body of water. Aqua-Zips and Floaties can also be used in any swimming pool (I think canoes are restricted as you can't sail inside if there's no wind).
