I'm usually benevolent with my Sims, and since I have autonomy off, they can't do most of the things that annoy people, like make messes or troll teh forums. (Tip: to get the 'discipline your toddler or child five times' aspiration goal, teach your toddler or child to 'say please and thank you'. Afterward, you will have the option to 'encourage learning to say please and thank you', and that will count as 'discipline' for the purposes of the aspiration. The toddler or child will also learn manners that way.)
I do get annoyed with my toddlers when they're sad and get snotty with a mother who tries to 'comfort' them. That will usually get them ignored for the rest of the day.
As I mentioned in another thread, I did kill a Sim for spamming my kid with text messages, but she was created for the sole purpose of mixing genetics and wasn't a Sim that I cared about. And the constant messaging in the game is my number one peeve. I start to feel murderous even with Sims I initially liked, especially since it doesn't end with death. (Since my gene donor died on the lot, I was able to set her ghost free from the gravestone, so she's not just dead, but really, most sincerely, dead.)
