yes they are mean sims. the lighting does not strike the toddler, just close by to where they are standing!
I use traits like,

evil
mean
hates children

A lot of people probably just won't post about it... really. Sometimes it might not be suitable to talk about even.
Currently I'm building an area to experiment on sims for some sims I'm playing since they are evil scientists. There will be some really mean stuff and death going on ... I can guarantee it.

OP, that's just messed up. LOL Over the weekend I identified game saves that must be deleted. I don't pick on my Sims, in general. The worst thing I can think of was back in Sims3 when a Sim I created for my singer Sim flirted with his new brother-in-law on Gift Giving Day — in front of the whole family! I put her into the Bin. To this day, she remains there. LOL
