- If you’re talking about the Child of the Island trait, here’s what counts:
Taking part in the festivals
Throwing a kava party
Cooking with the pit
Watch baby turtles hatch
Listening to Island Radio
Eating Island Recipes
Cleaning up the island - Thank you so much! Where is this community lot though? I have never seen any option to travel there.
- SimsVIP is still working on their Events guide, but maybe if you google TS4 Island Living Guides, you'll find someone who's made one?
edit: @JACKIEJOY - tagging you in case SimsVIP's guide is of interest to you even though they haven't posted the Events section yet. - Personally, I kinda thought there should be a skill for Sulani culture like we have with Selvadorada culture in the Jungle Adventure pack, maybe with a new dance like hula dancing or something. oh well
- You have to go to the Vulcano Island, you'll find trash floating on the sea or lying on the beach. You can also search for trash in the sand.

I had hoped there would be too.- At a festival or two I have seen some easels with artwork on them. My sim viewed the artwork and got a moodlet “part of the community”.
I look forward to seeing a guide on these since we don’t get notifications and it’s hard to tell what is going on. - MidnightAura86New SpectatorThere are no pop up for festivals. But to be honest, you aren't missing much. Festivals consist of sims standing around talking, making food over the fire pit and doing the Windenburg fire dance with the bonfire that came with Windenburg. I really don’t see the culture in it at all. Add a bar and it’s any other bar lot with different decor and clothing.
It somehow makes city living festivals look good. - There are no pop up notices just have to look for the Balloon thingys to see when there is one.
Also talking with the ancestors when you are invited to talk with them - gives you a type of participating in the Island Culture thing as long as they like you . The ancestors visit my Sim in the Volcano house where she lives even. - @Vermatrix1 Your comment has nothing to do with this forum
