Much as I would love a new life state, I'm really feeling the need for core fixes. I'm hoping they find a way to tweak the traits to override the current emotion triggers so that Sim responses make more sense. This should include tuning some of the happiness defaults down to "fine" so the Sims seem more normal. I also feel like we really need a fear emotion and/or some kind of intricate fear system. Finally, I think we could use a much better memory and reaction system so Sims will remember important events, hold grudges, and react to situations accordingly.
I feel that making these changes would make a huge difference in gameplay.
Yes, this!!! I really missed my Sims actually reacting to stuff and actually remembering events like in the past games. The AI is a bit bleh and inconsistent for me. - KateEmerald7 years agoSeasoned VeteranI would be excited for something completely new. After we got all the standard packs in Sims 3 that everyone demanded as usual we were eventually blessed with Into the Future and Island Paradise - Two completely unique and exciting packs. I hope the same will be the cause for The Sims 4 soon, something completely unexpected and fun. I am happy about every single pack but something completely new would make me even more happier! :)
- Witches and University.
- davina12217 years agoSeasoned AceAnimals: farm animals(that don't count with the household- hate that dogs/cats did since we can't control them anyways; I didn't want to control them)- cows, pigs, goats, chickens, ect. Also, new fish tank actions and fish tanks. lizzards, snakes, rabbits, spiders, and other pets would be nice. Zoo & woodland(deer ect.) animals might be nice in the future and the ability to buy one.
It says stages as well, so I would like infants given what they were given in S3 from basegame to store and more such as passies, clothes, and hairs. I wouldn't mind having preteen as little kid to one with relationships is a huge jump and the teens are fixed to be mini-adults so allow for this.
I had to make myself just push one, because I equally wanted the careers one: housebuilder(survey), interior decorator, stylist, babysitting, farmer, and some simple ones that have only a couple of steps to the top such as grocery store, pizza boy, factory worker, fast food, store worker. I would like to be able to be the governess/nanny, a butler, and work from home types.
That was a hard choice. I think that my choices change not with what I want, but also how I think S4 things will be made. For example I did pick animals, but almost didn't because I don't think they will be done right or that someone might see my pick and think that I want lifestates, which I don't. I wanted to pick new jobs, but the task systems make jobs not fun. Don't care for lists & leveling up ect.
I also want new hoods, gameplay objects, venues. :) - I'd like another vacation destination, but I really want more worlds where Sims can live. I've been doing a revamp of the worlds trying to theme the neighborhoods (like I have an Eichler/MidCentury Modern neighborhood in Oasis Springs, for example) so I can do some one-off saves (I want to do one on Short lifespan and one on Normal when I want a break from my main save) and I could use some more space. Even another blank world like Newcrest would be useful. I'd like to see more 50x40 (we only have the one in Newcrest) and 50x50 lots, and fewer 64x64s -- I just find them really unwieldy; I mostly use them as backdrop filler or to house lots of Sims that I want to keep out of the Not In World population. (Currently building a large house in Windenburg on the non-island 64x64 lot; thinking of putting the Fyres and Partihaus in the same house). Theoretically you only need one of each type of venue but I like variety.
- I'd love more Worlds, but I'm also hoping for more venue types like hotels, movie theaters. Maybe a couple more playable careers (like the doctor, scientist, and detective)
- JeanVW7 years agoSeasoned AceNew life stages, states, animals. The Sims 4 feels VERY lacking in that area. I actually like the game now A LOT more since Seasons came out, but it's still SO lacking and lackluster in this department. We have the vamps which are probably the best vampires in the history of the Sims games, but it just feels.... empty. It makes the worlds (imo) more interesting and lively.
- I want new careers please!! Especially something in fashion!
- The sims 4 is kinda boring with only base game :/
- Life States above everything else Werewolves, Sorcerers, Elves
Followed by new Adventures, why they did Jungle, I'll never know or care.
Still hoping for an Ancient Greek World, Roman Empire restored.
Could have places like Poseidon's Temple, In which Mermaids could be included in the Game Pack. And Poseidon's Trident could be a new Collectable artifact that can be used to Turn into a mermaid, and a range of interesting water and lightning spells since that's thing now.
If I was making a mermaid GP that's what I would do.
If I was making a Farming (EP/GP), which I am still interested in, It would be a French-Italian Setting for a world. perhaps a village on onside.
and on the other hundreds of acres of farm land, Vineyards, Orchards, and all of it, I Would love Hogs/Pigs, Bulls/Cows, Roosters/Hens, forget Llamas, I would adore Alpacas, All I ask is, for Nectar and Brew Crafting to return also. When Crafting them I would like to Be able to name, Store them in Kegs, let age, use them myself at parties, or sell/supply to restaurants or something.
I have a Family who goes into building a Winery & Brewery, and they end up building a farm. They hold Harvest Festivals, at their mansion (Chateau), that over looks the farm, and it would be gorgeous.
