Once my sims get married, they get kind of a strained relationship. I keep forgetting to let them talk to each other (since there's no end goal in that once they're married) or letting them have quality time. Usually they get an unequal work division as well, with one being a stay-at-home parent (since it's convenient having someone to take care of the house/children) and one gets to bring in the money. Even when I really like the couple and is determined to make them perfect and loving this is usually what happens :/
