What Are Your Merfolk Doing Today 2.0

I finally have the template done and shared it to the gallery. If anyone wants to develop the same template their own way as I make progress with my own build. This would be the perfect place to share it if you are planning on developing the build for merfolk.

For anyone that downloads the Template. It's in the Gallery under the name MerMay Build Challenge 2025.

When you download the template, this is what you have to work with. The Lot is Admiral's Wreckage in Mua'Pel Am, so you will need a 50x50 lot. The template takes the landlocked ship and places it underground to turn it into a sunken wreck. The template leaves a lot open to creativity but it does include debug items that can be used in the building process, so you don't have to enter the cheats and find the items when you start. The build maintains only a few core elements to work with that are more developed. Lights underground are so you can see what you are doing when you are working on the build.

The goal of this challenge is to spend 1 hour every day for the Month of May adding to the build to develop it into something else. The challenge is to test your Sims 4 building ability with the objective of creating a place for your Merfolk to enjoy.

Above Ground 

(Jungle Temple, Island Ruins, Overgrown Jungle with Hidden Secrets, or a Mix of Everything and More. Seeds are included if you want to add something more to the lot.)

The Grotto

(An Explorable Beach Cave, Grotto for Merfolk to Live in, the Depths of a Sunken Ruins) The Grotto goes deep beneath the surface with lots of options to develop. Some parts are compatible with pools to simulate flooding. Lights help you see while building cause it does get dark without them. Empty space is left there for the players to expand the build and add freeform elements that are all their own.

The Sunken Ship

(The Sunken Wreck Under the Sea and More Underwater Caves) The Appearance of this area will change with the time of day. Light changes even go partly into the wreck. The Space above the ship does allow players to build a Merfolk Lagoon above at the surface. The highest points of the troller will poke through a couple areas. But, underwater Decor or the shape of the Pool can get around that.

For me, I'm planning on turning this into a place for my merfolk to live and turn the grottos into homes for all my merfolk to live in one place with plenty to do.
