I'm currently on my third gen of a mermaid-fairy family (my fairy Sim married Paka'a Uhu and they had four daughters--2 fairies, 2 mermaids), but I've noticed something odd going on and I'm wondering if this is a glitch or planned feature. All the original mermaid townies from the game have died off by now and the game doesn't seem to be making anymore. The only mermaids left in the game are my descendants from Paka'a. Is this normal?
Anyway, here is Paka'a's daughter Jazmin and his grandson Vernon. I wish there were more tops for males that go well with the tails. I like the mesh one, but the colors don't all fit with the tail colors so I ended up giving Vernon the female scales just to have something colorful on his torso. I may experiment with some chest tattoos.
Jazmin is pretty 💗Her headwear is very nice. Vernon is a handsome merman.
I’m not sure if that’s a bug. I haven’t seen all merfolk disappear. I think the game should generate townies.
Do you hang out around Mua Pel’Am? There’s a spot there where only merfolk appear. Perhaps if you hang out there long enough the game will generate a random mer?
There’s a mod that creates a lot trait called mermaid cove. That mod is a little too good at making the game generate new merfolk.
