They started reruns of Dr. Quinn right today where I live (in Italy).
They had started to broadcast it last year, and I got so into it that when they stopped it somewhere in the middle of Season 2, I was really sad. It came back today, right where they had interrupted it, and I couldn't be more happy!
I'm planning a 1850s legacy when the pack comes out, so this is really good inspiration for houses and clothes. I wonder if there is a good-looking Sully on the gallery ?. He would be great as the founder of my legacy. - GrumpyGlowfish3 years agoSeasoned AceIs someone planning on using the pack to give these guys a new chance at a happy ending?

Weed abatement? Our mission has sheep that are grazing on the hillside nearby in preparation for fire season. - I made a really cute anthropomorphic cow lady that just wanders around places acting like a talking cow would. She's mostly just sweet and fun so she'll move to the new town. I'm curious how much Native CAS we'll get because I'd love to make a couple of Natives.

thinking CoL sims will have some new animals when I get to "next season" of that story I have some detailed and less detailed ideas about it
Nectar making will be added for Tartosa
Kine Society will be added to new world of Chestnut Ridge and will be looking for new members
might rebuild my 8 bells saloon if we get actual saloon itemsSpoilernow its really just the get famous set and its killing me how the piano is not functional but takes so much space and saloon door does not function so i have to take sims in from the back etc.
at very least give me functioning door
and other front stuff could be separate shell thing to place on building if its too hard to add all those items as actual build things
ahem, sorry rant back to subject
what was I at
oh yes wondering if Roswells should move to Chestnut Ridge I get ranch vibes from them but I'm still trying to think if you can really be Strangerville mayor from Chestnut Ridge  I mean I consider them inside same Strangetown area but its kind of weird with SV max weirdness and nothing showing for it in Chestnut Ridge so hmm
maybe Ted retired to Chestnut Ridge to avoid responsibility for whatever it is he didSpoilermaybe there is new mayor in Strangerville
maybe its Katrina Caliente
and maybe she isn't Calientes mom after all but rather a distant relative
as for Chestnut Ridge sims I'll have to meet them first but I am thinking of keeping them in the world as long as I have space for it and I might add some CoL animals in the mix if they all have same kind of animals
@Simmingal I made a semi-functional saloon, based off of this. I posted about it in my build thread but I couldn’t find this comment until just now. I noticed your Sims couldn’t walk through the saloon doors of the prop from Get Famous. So I placed it in a basement and raised it up to the right level. Sims can walk through it, but obviously it won’t open.

I do have it like this myselfhttps://athena.thesims.com/v1/images/1/0x00000c04/49C68078-BBDD-11EC-844D-98FA96677A6B/00.jpg
8 Bells Saloon
I just wish I could replace the props with real build items
cause the prop piano gets in the way and the lighting is kinda bad with the props not lighting up
and most obviously, sims having to get in from the back because front door is fake
I was considering taking out the prop that has piano
but the front balcony hangs awkwardly inside without continuation if I do that and *sighs*- Chawools3 years agoSeasoned NoviceThey mentioned that this EP will be first nation's based. I really hope they make a long, basic braid style for all genders. More braids in general, would be important for this EP, but especially braids that can be worn by all---not just traditionally feminine. The sims definitely missing a few low, basic, long braid for males. I wish I could add this to the feedback part of the sims, but I can't post there yet for some reason.

I do live in woodsy countryside village in the middle of nowhere
so you would really think theres more animals to be seen
but people do more of the lumber and fields stuff these days
with these awful machine thingies
make a big noise
driving in the street,
gonna be a big annoyance one day
got mud on their face, big disgrace
Kicking their cans all over the place
sorry I seem to have gotten carried away some point there
anyway yeah I always get excited when I spot some actual honsies goats lambs and moomoos cause its become such a rare sight
heck, whens the last time I saw a chicken I do not know 2012? is that what the world end actually was chicken apocalypse?- kurimisarang3 years agoSeasoned AceSpoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/IKo8m2X.png
Started building a barn next to the Roswells' house in Strangerville. Very rough WIP as I don't like any of the walls/windows/doors available. Hoping for good options in the pack.Spoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/kUzrSUY.png
Meredith Roswell has had this outfit in my game for a while, glad to know she will finally use it.Spoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/I2GmgLp.png
One of the house (still in Strangerville) with a fake wine cellar basement will finally be more than deco. Now that I think about it, a fair number of my houses have that Dine Out cellar, excited to go and replace all of them with a functional item.
The Watsons in Henford on Bagley might replace their cow with mini sheep, depends how they work in gameplay. They have a border collie and I always felt disappointed Cottage Living didn't give me sheep to herd on those english hills.
I might not play in the new world though, as I still haven't played in Tartosa, Copperdale, Moonwood Mill or San Sequoia. However, as I'm fond of Americana, and Strangerville is one of my favorite worlds ever, it's looking more promising than previous packs.

Only two of these houses are real. - amapola763 years agoSeasoned AceThis is a small thing, but I was just reading that horses love the smell of lavender and find it very calming. While it does not appear that we will have a new lavender harvestable, and I doubt there will be any other tie-in to this bit of trivia in the new items or gameplay, it does make me want to make sure that all of my horse-owning households incorporate lots of non-harvestable lavender (from the Build catalogue, can't remember whether it's under shrubs or flowers) into their landscaping.
Of course, some of them probably already have, as it is admittedly already one of my favorite landscaping items.
ETA: I don't think the likes and dislikes will ever get this involved-- I'm still hoping for the ability to add favorite foods!-- but it would be kind of nice if our sims (including horses) could have favorite flowers or trees (either harvestable, non-harvestable, or ideally both) and get happy moodlets when they see them. Just like in real life, when my heart gives a little leap whenever I see an oak tree or a bed of iris.
