14: Get Famous (i quite like this pack, it comes with careers, i love the rich world Del Sol Valley, i use the pack in some occasions, i wished there were more things to do and i wished there was 1 more option to turn the famous thingy on/off in certain household since it's either each sims or none of the sims, it's really annoying, selling art? you get famous, writing a book? you get famous, singing a song? you get famous...i get it's called "Get Famous" but it's not always necessary to get famous just because you sell your hard work)
I just have one thing to say about this. Have you never heard of Stephan King? Yes, some writers do get famous for their work. The thing I would add to this pack (which I love) is a Singer Career. I do miss that so very much from Sims 3 Showtime. Thankfully, there is a great mod for that, which I use. Road to Fame. This mod also includes a modeling career, inasmuch as my Rock Star, is able to do photoshoots.
Isn't there an option for each individual sim to step out of the spotlight?

I know you can set it for that game save. And, yes, there is an option for your individual Sims to step out of the spotlight. Pull up the same tab that shows milestones and scroll down to where your celebrity stars are. Click on the tab on that page, where you would choose where you wish to place their accumulated stars. On that page there is the option to step out of the spotlight.
I may or may not heard about Stephan King, i don't mind if some sims get famous but it's not always necessary for my taste
As for singing career yes i totally agree, maybe who knows with a (music) band pack that possibly comes out later this year it should be possible but i'll keep that "Road To Fame" in mind incase i change my mind
Stephan King wrote the Shining, among other books. Firestarter I particularly enjoyed. Mostly, he's too out there for my taste. I do believe you can remove the Sim's fame and have them step out of the spotlight. There is a pack cheat for removing the fame. Stepping out of the spotlight requires you search their tab for where their celebrity status is shown and where you've placed the points accumulated for perks. On that page is where you can have them step out of the spotlight.
