I'm guessing it's an intermediate life stage between crib babies and toddlers. Probably with beginning motor skills, early communication/social skills and play. Sitting independently, babbling and first words, crawling, cruising, leading into toddlers with first steps.
Does anyone recall the thread, ages ago, now that was asking what we wanted in babies? I'm hoping, as they did with Toddlers, some of what we asked for will be there.
I, too, think it's going to be an intermediate stage. Makes sense. Newborns don't sit up, nor crawl. And since the walking lesson once baby twirls into a Toddler is badly truncated, it makes sense were this infant to be able to cruise a bit. I just hope they don't wander around practically naked. Only a diaper doesn't cut it in the winter months … just sayin'.
