That is a great helpful mod @Ellupelluellu 🙂 It is kind and helpful of you to post the link.
- @rosemow I love that mod, it almost never breaks (2020 last) and I don't have to fight with easel about angles 🙂
We still have the Photo Shop in San Myshuno (I built it in 2015! And the screenshots are also taken at this time, I'm glad I improved hahaha)
Leandro was the owner but then he became the Zombie Detective and was busy elsewhere o.o
Here I made some photographer's stuff with baking trays and objects from the buydebug (we only had a few packs at this time ^^')
But I prefer at least one Sim in the household has maxed Photography Skill because we take so many photos.
That's easier than moving in and out Sims from other households. And the skill is maxed quickly because it only goes up to level 5.
Sometimes, when we want to take group photos, we grab a NPC and let them take 5x the same pic, so at least one is ok and if necessary, we copy it ^^'
These are photos taken by a NPC:

A decent level of cooking skill is definitely a must-have for at least one sim in every household I play.
Also some handiness, as things are always breaking.
And fitness tends to be a skill that most of my sims end up with. I like to do a lot of swimming and jogging and other sporty things with them, so they end up with a fair amount of fitness without really trying.
How could I forget fitness?
That's a skill that comes in handy for supernatural fights and also in the rabbithole challenges/caves and Selvadorada afaik(?)
The Boys' story at the official Sims Forum:
👉 First Year (=from the beginning) 👉 Second YearIt is a great that so far in this thread cooking, handiness or gardening skills have been the skills that we all think that are the most important for our sims. 🙂 They are very helpful in the game.
None really my sims just progress with skills as I play
and as for hobbies it greatly depends on sim
in previous games I did do cooking 3 but I find fires in ts4 are not as deadly so I don't really mind some fires in the kitchen
if I do mind they will just eat garden salad as usual
Your photo studio build is great! @LennyOgg 🙂 The exterior design is very nice. You are very creative in the photographers items that you created using items from buydebug.
Photography skill is a great skill to have, to enjoy taking pictures of special times in the lives of our sims.

It is so interesting reading how different simmers prioritise different skills. Cooking, gardening and handiness are always the basic three for my sims, then it depends on the storyline - painting and writing; logic and programming or archaeology are usually the next skillset developed usually leading to self-employed home careers. Then my sims can concentrate on the special-interest or hobby skills - sciences; baking; mixology and juice fizz and nectar making; knitting and cross-stitch and the new gemology skill crafting lots of jewellery … each of these skills helping create multiple income streams and lots of gifts for family and friends. Charisma and fitness seem to develop naturally as part of my sim’s lifestyle.
As you said @OzSimsFamily it is great the way that the new Gemology skill is very helpful in many ways, as sims can enjoy creating jewellery to give away as gifts, or use it to sell for income. At the same time, the jewellery is very nice to wear and also sims can obtain effects by wearing it.
