What career for Eliza Pancakes?

In my game Eliza is a JK Rowling-esque author of a popular series of cozy mysteries aimed at young readers.

She's married to my sim, George.

In mine she is a career woman, and Bob is the stay at home dad. I have the version that has Iggy in their family. I like this version of her a whole lot better, because the old version was always flirting with everyone she laid eyes on. This version is rather likable.

Give her a criminal career. She certainly stalks sims enough. :neutral:

Eliza struck me as the kind of sim that doesn't want to work for the wealth, but she definitely wants it all. Being at home (or off mingling with sims and being a general nuisance). Want to make those big bucks, but probably not put in a whole lot of effort less she had someone to do it for her. Though the game always seemed to automatically assign her as a business woman usually.

I have the Law Career Mod, by @Neia. So I put her in that. I could see her as a judge, but since she's Materialistic, I just put her on the private practice track, I think it's called. I like to think of her as a sharky divorce lawyer who does her own investigative work, following those nasty cheaters and documenting the evidence with her telephoto lens. She and Bob are divorced--Bob is married to Bella. Don Lothario lives in the upstairs apartment but I doubt he will ever become her partner.. She turns a blind eye to his dating life, just as she did with Bob and Bella. They work out together in the basement and practice Krav Maga, a type of martial arts (Practice Fighting). The Town Brawl is her favorite holiday. She always shakes hands afterward, but she is def not a hugger. :p

I generally put her in the business career, in the management track, I generally see her as Sigourney Weaver's character in the movie Working Girl.

I don’t like the idea of her being in the same career as Bob, but I am seriously considering the Critic (food critic that is) track. That would tie in with the food/drink interest and writing. @cloudsky331 and @So_Money

I do like @"Livin in Sim"’s lawyer idea, as it’s own (mod supported) story.

The waitress idea might be a good one to fit into the backstory as how she met Bob @Emo-usagi2187

I totally agree that she’s more into the career and not family @LaBlue. Bob will definitely do the lions share of any parenting. What specific career did your Eliza have?

In my game, she stays home and tends to the garden + kiddos. She does yoga as a hobby.

Another career for Eliza I saw in Jenn, Xurbansims YT Let's Play, was that she and Bob refurbished their marriage. I don't know if you have Dine Out, but they opened a breakfast restaurant, of course. Eliza would help out, and would always work with the employees on praising and disciplining them. Since you have GTW, maybe Eliza would like to open a retail business if you enjoy that sort of play. Anyway, in the Let's Play, Eliza had 4 children, 3 boys, including twin boys, and the baby was a girl. She seemed to really like being a mom. It's interesting how the Sims are somewhat of a canvas with only a few details, and we fill in the rest. :D

Never played much with her, and already lot of good suggestions, but maybe she could be a painter? Perfectionist would help her make higher quality paintings, and then she could either sell them to buy stuff to satisfy her materialism, or decorate her house with her own masterpieces! YYou could have her join the "curator" branch, or whatever it's called. Or, if you have City Living, she could be a critic! That would get her writing skill up and she could write her books too! She could be an art critic, which in game is really more performance based, but tends to involve a lot of painting too so presumably she could be evaluating those too, or she could be a food critic and give Bob a bunch of bad reviews ;-P

Criminal.
You can see Eliza's picture on the investigator's clipboard if you play the detective career. She is already a suspect so Eliza is a perfect criminal.
