What Career(s) Do You Usually Go With, and What Are the Career(s) You Stay Away From?

I couldn't see anything posted about this, so if there is a discussion I'm sorry. I usually go with Writer, Painter, or Culinary. Right now, I'm trying to use different careers because I want to...

For teens I favour Lifeguard and labourer, the rest are too time-consuming.

I don’t like all the reports for the Business and Secret Agent careers but it’s not as bad at the higher levels. Crime doesn’t pay very well so I don’t bother with that but otherwise I will play most. If I have a SIM I am very focused on I will try to have the other partner do a rabbit hole or go to work more so I can go to work or work from home with the one that interests me.
