What causes walls to disappear in live mode even when full walls are selected?

I have this great community lot I found on the gallery but it, and others I've found recently have this weird glitch. If I stay zoomed out and keep the camera tilted down all of the walls are fully vi...

Same in any residential lot, small or big :)
Walls , some floors and furniture disappear if you move too close. After your sim has knocked the door and asked to come in, all is visible again :)
