What "civil designer" stands for?

I'm not sure, but I got the impression it has to do with the clean up of the city.

So kind of like an architect.

Civil engineers focus on design and construction basically, so they fit with the pack. Is this definitely a new career because I think thee was some confusion about it

I guess it is like sims 3 architects. Go to people house install solar panel. I hope there is an evil route where we make it worse lol

I'm starting to feel more encouraged about the new game. I love that they have the toggle to control the environment. I also love the new variety crafts, abilities & careers. It would be cool to see what my sims will be able to build.

There are at least two new careers, Civil Designer and Freelance Crafter.

Civil engineering is normally focusing on planning - design, structure, maintenance, etc. If you happened to see any constructions, say the road or railway constructions IRL, there will be at least a team of the civil engineers that will work along with the architect, electrician, & other project managers. They need to make sure all the planning would not or at least minimise the negative effect on the environment & the surrounding.

I would say that, when you build your Sims house or the community lots, you could call yourself a civil engineer too! ;)

No not the civil designer career. There is a freelance crafting career but that’s different.
