I play rotational so I play my neighborhood as a whole. Setting up the stories for each household and play out how each family interacts with each other. I also make sims from games/tv to spice things up abit and make my own stories for them. And as for places for them to visit, I have made a simple community pool, a space museum and a neighborhood garden. With just the base game, I work with what I got, lol.
